Mabon 2016
Mabon 2016
I came to the Ranch dreading to go back to the faery cave with the dead grandmother tree up above my sacred Aspen grove. That is where I have built my altar for the last 5years. Every one of those years, the setting sun on the Fall equinox has beamed to the back of the cave and illuminated the altar. This summer when I discovered my giant grandmother tree had tipped over last winter and died? I've been devastated.
Today, I started hiking west of there. Down a little valley I have never been in. Letting my guides lead me...I found a short needle grandmother tree next to a cave!!!! A whole new area that my guides led me to. How amazing!!
While sitting in the cave the sun broke through for about 5 minutes. I wept with joy. Just above it is an enclave in the boulders that I climbed up to. The acoustics are amazing. I've been chanting and inventing songs for an hour.
I am chanting a song for one of my guides that was newly introduced to me last weekend. She's French and Native American.
I believe she is who led me to this new faery spot. As I write this a blue jay called out 3 times.
I built a lovely little alter on an Aspen stump. Ritual was simple and poignant. I'm ready for New beginnings, new relationships, new adventures. My new life.
So mote it be!!!
