The Aspen Grove

This is a place for me to post my journal writings, poems and artwork. This is a place for me to share my path with other cyber warriors and healers. I also post beautiful images that come to me and resonate with the Aspen Grove.

The Peripheries

The Peripheries

Once winter sets in
The Hermit becomes completely shut off
The path is buried in snow
All is quiet

The wind still speaks to her
As well as the Evergreens
The bear is sleeping
Wolves sometimes circle

The fire burns low
My heart aches
I hold this space for those
That need company more than I

Solitude is my blanket
At times I throw it aside
Heavy with the burdens
Of the energies woven within

I yearn for the spoken word
For an embrace of flesh
To dance with another
Eyes locked in laughter

I hope that this ache
Will manifest a prayer
For those whose path is inland
To chance upon companionship

I am no stranger
To great love
I had many a passionate embrace
When I was young

As I walked many paths
I came to understand
My place in the tribe
As the One who looks in

There are those that hold the space
Within the circle
And then there are those
That must walk the peripheries
