Farewell to a Lover

My Chilean lover
Old soul
Past life shaman
Mysterious and bold

Your touch drove me mad
Hands knew just what to do
Your kisses bruised my lips
Then melted my resolve

Ancient desires
Born of the Moon
And you of Neptune
Awakened past lives

Wild Andalusian stallion
Thick hair black as night
Skin to make a woman cry
Eyes brown as burnt wood

Volatile emotions
You would pout
Then I would gently brush
Your hair from your eyes

I would make you laugh
Though you tried not to
You would make me let go
Though I tried not to

So beautiful
My young lover
I will miss your touch
And the deep wisdom you brought to my skin.
